Our experience with Scotty and the crew exceeded our expectations. Initially Scotty provided us with a quote to install pavers in our backyard, but after meeting him and driving around town to see some of his work we expanded the project to the front yard as well. His prices were competitive (we got 3 quotes) and beyond that he worked with us to ensure our vision could come to life within budget. From his first visit we felt very comfortable with Scotty, he never tried to upsell us (others did) and had a very approachable style. Total time from start to finish was about 4 ½ weeks and Scotty was onsite pretty much every day to ensure the work was up to his standards. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the project to ensure that we were pleased with how things were going and to discuss any concerns we had. There were 1-2 minor hiccups in the project which were corrected immediately when they were brought to Scotty’s attention. His crew was phenomenal. They worked tirelessly from morning to evening, cleaned up the work area each day, and paid great attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the results. We’ve had several people in the neighborhood stop by to compliment their work and ask who we hired, very happy to refer them to Pavers by Coyote. The experience was so good we’ve already started to think of other projects we can hire them for.

Pavers By Coyote….these guys know all about and how to rock. They are prompt, professional and finish on time. I have no idea how they accomplished everything in three weeks….but they did the demo, installed the drainage, and laid the pavers on the front, side, and back yards, as well as installed 50 foot of stone veneer on a retaining wall. And the best part, is it looks awesome. It was a great investment and the property and family are so much better off for it. Absolutely awesome company to work with. They are very accommodating and go the distance to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

Pavers by Coyote came out to our house to fix some lifting pavers, redo all of the sand in our existing pavers, clean the pavers, and reseal the pavers.  Scotty was incredibly responsive to all of my numerous questions, professional, fair with  pricing, and came by the house every day of the project to check the work being done and make sure it was up to his standards.  When we had a minor issue, which was our own fault, Scotty sent a crew to fix the problem that night.  (Literally, at 7pm in the dark they came back and fixed the problem.)  It’s that kind of attention to the job and dedication to our satisfaction that made me immediately recommend Pavers by Coyote to one family member and two neighbors.

I had a issue with my pavers in my backyard.  They badly needed cleaning.  I called three companies.  One didn’t want to talk and said they would call me back (never did).  The other called me back 5 days later.  Scotty Coyote picked up the phone on the first ring and stopped by my house the next day to give me a quote. His crew started 2 days later and did an incredible job.  They cleaned the pavers and got all the mold and stains off and then re sanded all the joints and finally sealed them.  A two day job due to the Pavers needing to dry.  They look brand new.  Scotty and his team are very professional and reasonable.  I liked their work so much that we decided to tear out my red brick front porch and walkway.  Once again, Scotty gave me a very fair price and his crew started the demo the next week.  I have never seen people work so hard.  They started at 8 am and worked until 8 pm.  Within 5 days everything was completed and cleaned up.  The pavers look amazing and Paver by Coyote did the best work I have ever seen.  Scotty’s company is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with – they are simply awesome in an industry that doesn’t always have the best reputation.  I cant recommend them enough!

My yard was definitely tired and dated before Scotty Coyote showed up. He came up with a clean, modern design that updated it and improved the overall look 1000%.  When I sold the house, his work helped me obtain the highest per square foot sales price in Cardiff By The Sea at the time of the sale.  He used clever positioning of decorative walls and pavers to enhance the visual effect of the outdoor hardscape.  The quality was top notch and he is the sort of contractor who comes back to fix anything that needs tweaking.  You can definitely trust him and he will give you great value.

We were having some erosion on our hillside, during heavy rains. So, we contacted Scotty Coyote to inquire about building a retaining wall to help keep the erosion under control. He made an appointment with us, evaluated our situation, gave us a detailed work estimate that was very reasonable, and the work started shortly thereafter. The crew was on-time every day, and they cleaned up the work-site nicely at the end of each day.  When the job was finished, we had a beautiful new retaining wall with embedded lighting, and also a nice section of pavers that integrated well with our existing walkway and driveway. We chose Pavers by Coyote due in large part to their excellent reviews from other customers.  Now, we are adding our own review to list.  Scotty was very easy to work with and the team delivered a high-quality finished product.  We did change our minds a couple of times during the construction, (e.g. height of the wall,  pattern of the pavers).  But, each time we changed our minds, Scotty and the team took it in-stride, and adapted easily to our needs and wants. We could not be happier with our new wall and pavers, and for choosing Scotty as our designer and builder.

Scotty Coyote and his crew recently completed our driveway/walkway paver project. What a beautiful job they did, we couldn’t be happier with the results.  But more than that, Scotty was great to deal with. Before getting Scotty’s estimate we suffered through multiple lengthy sessions with salesmen pitching massively overpriced estimates or covering for sub-standard contractors. We had similar experiences getting contractors for our other total house remodeling projects dealing with multi-level companies. But every once in a while, you get a no BS owner/operator contractor who is professional, efficient, and understands exactly what you’re looking for. Scotty Coyote is one of those contractors, he was there at the start, during the job, and for the final walk-thru. The estimate was reasonable and competitive, not the lowest, but far from the highest. We didn’t hesitate and neither did Scotty and his crew. We had our new beautiful paver driveway/walkway done within nine days from signing the contract. And his dedicated crew of craftsman delivered with attention to detail handling some challenging grading and contours – our driveway is anything but a flat square. It came out beautiful and has made a dramatic difference in the whole look of our house. We’re so glad we went with Coyote pavers.

Scotty came out and gave me estimate and was very prompt, professional and punctual. He listened to what my concerns were, he answered the questions I had and he provided brochure books for me to look at for reference. His crew showed up, was very prompt, and professional.  The job was estimated to a week to complete and it was completed early. The job and workmanship was totally professional and looks amazing. I am going to have his company do another project in the backyard as well within the next few weeks.

We weren’t sure whether or not to pour new concrete in our front yard or go with pavers.  All of the hardscape in our yard needed to be torn out and redone. Ultimately, we decided on pavers and we are so glad we did!  Pavers by Coyote was very professional and made the whole process really easy. Scotty and his crew replaced our rotting wooden deck, rotting back fence, flagstones and pebbles with beautiful paving stones and a sitting wall. With 2 little kids, the rotting deck was a hazard and made our back yard not very usable. With the new pavers and wall, we now have a space  for the kids the play and for us to entertain guest!

From beginning to end, Scotty and his crew were very attentive and accommodating. During the bidding stage Scotty provided an itemized and very easy to understand work estimate, customer references and even locations where we can see work done by Coyote Pavers. I immediately became comfortable and trusted that Scotty and team would do a good job.

What also made Scotty stand out was the wide range of services that they were able to provide. We wanted to add 2 separate electrical posts behind the sitting wall, so we could connect string lighting, and Scotty was the only one out of the 3 bids that was able to do it. Other companies were only comfortable with doing the pavers. Scotty also has a background in design and gave us great ideas on the design, even if it meant reducing the size of the project. I just felt that he had my best interest at heart… kind of like a really good neighbor!

During demo and construction, Scotty’s crew showed up on time, were very courteous, always happy to answer and of my questions and concern, and worked hard from morning to evening. Scotty was extremely easy to get a hold of during and even after work hours by phone, text or email. There was never a communication problem throughout the whole process. This is a big plus when you are spending big money on construction.

I am very picky about aesthetics. Towards the end of the job, I found a few areas that were not to my liking, either a few pavers had some minor chips or the alignment to my existing concrete was a little off. And this is after they already added the joint sand to the pavers and adhesive to the block wall. When I told Scotty about these, he made no objections and had his guys immediately change them out and made the necessary adjustments until I was satisfied. How do you beat that level of service?!

My wife and I are thrilled by the work done by Coyote Pavers and will be recommending them to our families and friends. We are so happy in fact that I am having Scotty quote me on some additional work that would further improve the look of our yard.

We were referred to Pavers by Coyote through Modern Builders.  From our initial introduction with Scotty at our property, we learned he actually had installed pavers for quite a few of our neighbors.  Scotty listened intently to our priorities and our concerns to keep the project affordable.  He was quick to come up with creative layouts and also gave us choices on paver products/colors.  The very next day, he came over to drop off paver samples and laid some them out so we could imagine the outcome.  Scotty was very professional in the numerous visits to our home and very giving of his time.  We could tell he was an honest and reliable contractor.  Without too much hesitation, we moved forward with our project.  Within a few days, we had a crew out for demolition and preparation.  Pavers and material delivered literally the same day if not the next.  Our project consisted of approximately 2180 square ft (front yard, the backyard and the base of the driveway) was completed within two weeks – even with sporadic showers.  We had a consistent crew who were hard working, respectful, approachable, and conscientious.   They always cleaned up at the end of the day.  Scotty periodically came by to check on the progress and work.  Now that the project is completed, we are thrilled with the outcome.  We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pavers by Coyote and will definitely do future business with Scotty again!

I would highly recommend Coyote Pavers. We were looking to have our Belgard pavers sealed on a recently completed landscaping job. We were concerned about getting the job done right and I interviewed several contractors. Scotty (who owns Coyote Pavers) was the only contractor I felt comfortable hiring for the job. After meeting with Scotty I could see that he was professional, honest, and straightforward. Communication via text was always prompt and professional. I should point out that our contract with Coyote pavers was for a single coat of sealer since the sealer manufacturer indicated a single coat should be sufficient. After the first coat was applied it was apparent that the pavers needed a 2nd coat. When I asked Scotty to come back and take a look at the pavers, he didn’t hesitate and said he would be happy to apply a 2nd coat at no additional labor charge to us. We were very pleased with the end result. Scotty clearly cares about customer satisfaction and I would work with Scotty again in heartbeat.

Scotty and crew turned our aging driveway into an amazing looking paved drive. To start with we got great advice from Scotty on how best to tackle the project, he suggested several enhancements we had not considered. Demolition was quick and clean. Scotty’s crew did a great job prepping (even moving plants and replanting them when all was done). The crew really excelled at laying the pavers. Aside from the paving they also installed stone veneer on some of the front facing walls. Again, the crew did a wonderful job getting all the details just right.
